Maintenance Technician – Food & Beverage Manufacturing

A leading food and beverage manufacturer in Burbank, IL is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join its team. This role is essential for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of production equipment by performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Key responsibilities include maintaining and repairing processing equipment, conveyor systems, pumps, mixers, and packaging machinery . Additional duties involve troubleshooting production issues, conducting preventive maintenance, and ensuring all work aligns with food safety and sanitation standards . The role also includes electrical work such as running conduit, installing data and air lines, and maintaining pneumatic and power tools.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment , preferably in the food and beverage industry . Proficiency in 3-phase 480V systems, reading electrical schematics, and troubleshooting motors is essential. Experience with welding, HVAC, plumbing, and PLC troubleshooting is a plus. Candidates must be able to lift up to 75 pounds , work flexible hours including overtime, and bring their own tools.
