Service Technician

Job Summary:

We’re seeking a reliable and skilled Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing equipment at customer sites or within our facility. You’ll be the face of our company in the field, so a strong work ethic, great communication, and a customer-first mindset are key.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting on [equipment type, e.g., HVAC units, machinery, control systems, etc.].
• Respond to service calls in a timely manner and complete work orders accurately.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance checks.
• Communicate effectively with customers, explaining issues and solutions in plain terms.
• Document work performed, parts used, and time on-site.
• Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and company policies.
• Keep tools, equipment, and work area clean and organized.
• Occasionally assist with installations or system upgrades.
  
  

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate’s degree preferred.
• 2 years of experience in a service or maintenance technician role.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, or plumbing skills (depending on job focus).
• Familiarity with hand tools, diagnostic instruments, and repair equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, or technical diagrams.
• Comfortable working independently and managing time efficiently.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
