We're currently seeking a Sr. Project Engineer for a leading manufacturer of custom industrial equipment / machinery in Elgin, IL. As a Sr. Project Engineer, you will play a vital role in new product introduction efforts, helping bring new industrial machinery products to the market.
Base Salary - $95k to $120k

Job Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related.
6 years of experience as a project engineer, mechanical engineer, mechanical design engineer, product engineer, product development engineer or a related role.
Ideal experience working within a machinery or industrial equipment manufacturer (Large Mechanical System)
Ideally Machine Design Experience is preferred but also open to industrial equipment, electro-mechanical, or mechanical products that have an industrial application. Pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, hydraulics, pneumatics, etc.
SolidWorks or 3D software proficiency.
Quality Control / Project Management experience.
Responsibilities :
Majority working on custom projects, but also some standard / existing projects.
Design of all new and existing product orders from customers.
Designing parts, components, and changes to new or existing machine.
Using SolidWorks for the 3D solid modeling / prototyping.
Mechanical Design, Electrical Design, System Design.
Project Management.
Vendor Selection.
Factory Support.
Quality Control.
