Job Description:
Aegis Worldwide is seeking a seasoned Supply Chain Optimization Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our end-to-end supply chain operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Main Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
- Forecast and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock of raw materials.
- Develop and implement demand planning strategies to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Negotiate cost-effective pricing and ensure timely deliveries with suppliers.
Production Coordination:
- Collaborate with the Production Manager to align raw material availability with production schedules.
- Coordinate material readiness and workflow adjustments to ensure smooth machine changeovers.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks to maintain optimal production output.
Logistics & Order Fulfillment:
- Plan and execute efficient warehousing, distribution, and transportation strategies.
- Oversee shipping schedules to ensure finished goods reach clients on time.
- Optimize delivery efficiency and costs through collaboration with freight carriers and third-party logistics providers.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of inventory control, procurement, logistics, and production planning.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to problem-solve and make data-driven decisions in a fast-paced environment.
