Transportation Engineer – Roadway Design

Position Overview:

Responsibilities:
- Perform transportation and geometric roadway design, plan development, public presentations, specification writing, drainage calculations, quantity calculations, cost estimating, utility coordination, permitting, and technical report writing.
- Work both independently and collaboratively on Local Public Agency and state transportation projects.
- Communicate project status updates to the Road Design Team and clients effectively.
- Assist in recruiting new talent and contribute to a positive company culture.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science (BSCE) in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineer Licensure or eligibility to obtain
- Working knowledge of state transportation design standards, specifications, and procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D
- Basic knowledge of programming, macros, or task automation
- Strong organizational skills
