What are the responsibilities and job description for the Audio Visual Technician position at Aegistech?
A Video Services tech job is available with our client, a multi-national, financial services firm, based in NYC. This is an on-site, contract role. You will be a member of the global AV team and will ensure that standards and processes are adhered to and that those standards and processes meet the needs of the global, end-user community. Our client's mission is to provide unparalleled video services to the global end user community, including white glove meetings and event services for Client's Executives.
DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Daily review of assigned schedule for event requests to ensure all technical requirements are captured.
- Meet with event host to gather technical requirements.
- Execute agreed upon Run of Show based on approved SOP’s.
- Run cameras using Blackmagic switcher.
- Mic designated speakers.
- Set up camera presets for calls.
- Display content provided by Business.
- Manage video playback.
- Troubleshoot signal flow.
- Proactive conference room checks.
- Replace standard conference room kit (zoom pc, controller, cabling).
- Adhere to SOP for asset management via Service Now.
- Participate in additional projects that may include SOP updates/hardware upgrades/software updates.
- Be a team-player, with an "all hands-on deck" mindset.
THE SKILLS YOU NEED TO GET THE ROLE:
- Excellent knowledge for Zoom, Webex, and Teams.
- Zoom administration, webinar, events and sessions management.
- Experience working with a ticketing system (preferably Service Now) and adhering to set SLA’s.
- Experience working in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform troubleshooting on Audio/Video devices.
- Strong time management and organizational skills with exceptional attention to details.
- Interpersonal skills necessary to interact, work productively and collaboratively with other departments within.
