Job Summary:
Bridge Cable Inspector to ensure structural integrity by inspecting cables, sockets, suspenders, wrapping wires, and overseeing installation and maintenance.
The major scopes of work include main cable inspection, suspender rope replacement, and main cable blow tests.

We are looking for a Bridge Cable Inspector
Job Summary:
Bridge Cable Inspector to ensure structural integrity by inspecting cables, sockets, suspenders, wrapping wires, and overseeing installation and maintenance.
The major scopes of work include main cable inspection, suspender rope replacement, and main cable blow tests.
Key Responsibilities for inspecting suspension bridge cables include but are not limited to:
- Checking sockets for corrosion, cracks, deterioration, and possible movement or abrasion.
- Inspect the removing of wrapping wires, suspenders, and cable bands
- Inspect the erection of the new suspender ropes, and painting
- Inspect the installation of blow-test apparatus, including injection sleeves
- Bridge Cable Inspection (2 years of experience)
- AWS Certified Welding Inspector
- NACE Level 1 or Level 2 Certified
- New York, In Person.
- Monday to Friday.
- Weekends as needed.
- New York City, NYC: Relocate before starting work (required).
