Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced property management professional with exceptional leadership, business and financial management, planning / problem solving and customer services skills to join our team! The Senior Property Manager is responsible for leading the overall management and maintenance of Aeon's 306-unit affordable apartment community in Bloomington, MN, Blooming Meadows South. The Senior Property Manager will ensure that the property is well-maintained, residents are supported, and all aspects of the property run efficiently. This role involves supervising on-site staff, coordinating maintenance and repair activities, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with safety and affordable housing regulations. The Senior Property Manager acts as the on-site leader, and ensures the building is a maintained, clean, and welcoming place for residents and guests. The Senior Property Manager reports directly to the Portfolio Director.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
Lead, motivate, and direct staff
- Support the training, development and ability for on-site staff to be effective in their roles through ongoing training, mentoring and working through performance matters in an effective and timely manner.
- Perform timely and informative annual reviews for each direct report.
- Ensure growth of the team by offering them the opportunity to attend various seminars and classes, and actively participate and engage in growth opportunities as well.
- Use delegation skills to effectively manage time.
- Train and verify training of direct reports while holding them accountable to follow Aeon's policies and procedures.
- Act as a mentor for less experienced Site Managers and Assistant Site Managers.
- Partner with Aeon's Talent Acquisition team to ensure effective and equitable recruitment and hiring, to an build on-site team that is able to deliver on Aeon's promises to our residents and community.

Compensation, Hours & Location
This position has a range of pay of $70,000-$75,000 per year, depending on experience and skillset. Aeon offers an impressive benefit package that includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, retirement plan, generous paid time off and an employee assistance program. This full-time position offers mostly Monday-Friday, daytime hours. Typical work schedules are 8 : 30am-5pm, but there is some flexibility in these hours to accommodate the needs of the position and the staff person. Variations to this schedule may occur for planned resident and community events and meetings. This position would join the Aeon management on-call rotation for one week about every 5-6 weeks. This includes the ability to make management decisions on-call. This is an in-person position and will office mostly out of Blooming Meadows South. Occasional work at Aeon's Central Office, training facilities and other properties will occur from time to time.
