What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Scientist position at Aequor?
The Associate Scientist needs to be a recent graduate with a BS degree in Biology, Chemistry or related field. The Candidate will maintain and complete accurate records. Operate digital microscopes, centrifuge, burette, scales, etc. Clean production equipment. Set up and disassemble product equipment. Operate specific in-process devices for testing associated with the equipment (i.e. hardness testers, pH meters, pipette, titration assays, etc.). Must always stay within GMP compliance.
Qualifications: Experience in veterinarian care and animal experience a plus. Experience operating all referenced equipment. Record keeping experience required. Must be familiar with general safety procedure and guidelines. Must be self-motivated and have a strong attention to detail. Good communication skills required. Experience with Microsoft Office applications required.
