About the Job:
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating CT equipment, preparing patients for procedures, administering contrast agents, and maintaining equipment to ensure optimal performance. This role requires strong knowledge of CT imaging techniques, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Prepare patients for CT procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Administer contrast agents as required and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Maintain and calibrate CT equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Document patient information and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
- Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with specialization in CT.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in CT imaging.
- State licensure in Radiologic Technology (if applicable).
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging techniques and equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
