Occupational Therapist Role

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Aequor Healthcare. As a member of our dynamic team, you will work in a school-based setting, providing direct occupational therapy and assessments to students. Responsibilities

1. Assess students' needs and develop personalized intervention plans
2. Provide 1:1 and group therapy to support students' fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills
3. Collaborate with educators and parents to promote student success
4. Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional insights on student development
5. Track progress and adjust therapy plans as needed

Requirements

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current VA OT licensure
• Experience in a school setting is a plus, but not required
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
• Compassion and dedication to improving the lives of children
