Job Responsibilities:
Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation. Prepare patients for CT procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, ensuring their safety and comfort, and administering contrast agents as required while monitoring patients for adverse reactions.
Capture images of specific body parts using established protocols to ensure accurate and clear diagnostic results. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to evaluate images and ensure accurate diagnosis.
Maintain and calibrate CT equipment to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards. Document patient information, imaging procedures, and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Respond promptly to emergency situations and provide necessary assistance.
Job Requirements:
Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with specialization in CT. At least 2 years of experience in CT imaging. State licensure in Radiologic Technology (if applicable). Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
Strong knowledge of CT imaging techniques, equipment, and safety procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
