**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Banner University Medical Center - Tucson's Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR). The successful candidate will have experience with robotic surgical procedures, particularly with the Xi and SP Davinci Robots, as well as cardiovascular and endovascular cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating rooms for procedures by setting up equipment, instruments, and supplies.
- Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments, retracting tissue, and maintaining a safe environment.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the surgical team.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace throughout each procedure.
Requirements:
- Associate degree in Surgical Technology or related field.
- 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist in a hospital setting.
- Preferred experience with robotic surgical procedures and cardiovascular/endovascular cases.
- Ability to work 10-hour shifts with variable total hours per week (36-40).
- Must be available for call 6 times per 4-week period.
