What We Would Like You to Do
The primary role of the electronic assembler is to install, repair, and attach electronic components to a device, In this role, you will:
- Perform soldering and/or de-soldering of various size components on a PCB
- Thru-Hole and Surface Mount Soldering
- Conduct mechanical and electronic assembly of products per manufacturer’s specifications and industry standards
- Adhere to all AER safety guidelines, the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and proper procedures of material, including hazardous materials.
- Understand work orders while asking the department lead for assistance when necessary (communication is key!)
- Perform routine and non-routine tasks dependently and independently.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
What You Bring to the Table
- A minimum of one year of production assembly experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to solder at the component level -through Hole and Surface Mount Technologies (SMT)
- Ability to work on fine-pitch components where tight precision soldering is required
- Ability to use basic hand tools (electric screwdriver, cutter pliers, etc.)
- Prior knowledge about common electronic and electro-mechanical components
- Ability to assist in the selection and procurement of parts and materials
- Mechanical aptitude and strong organizational skills
- Prior or current certifications in J-Standard 001/ IPC-A-610
- Computer Skills - Microsoft Word & Excel
- Understanding of ESD practices

Compensation
- $18 to $24 per hour DOE
Interview Process
- All initial interviews will be conducted via Zoom or Microsoft Teams video conferencing.
- Interviews can lead to multiple meetings including panel discussions.
- All offers of employment are contingent upon the passing of a background check as well as a drug & alcohol testing.
