The Staff Accountant is a results-oriented Accounting and Finance role that reports directly to the Accounting Manager, working closely with Operations and Sales to improve profitability and cash-flow.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with month-end close for one or more operations.
- Maintains accurate and efficient filing of financial archive files and data
- Ensures required department reports are completed and information is compiled at month-end closing
- Completes assigned objectives to achieve financial services goals
- Process payroll, and assist with the accounts receivable process
- Ensures all payroll information is accurate and submitted on a timely basis
- Ensures all sales reports and financial statements are accurate prior to distribution
- Clearly communicates financial results to management on a regular basis
- Provides accurate and targeted financial analysis as requested
- Other duties, as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 1 years in a Finance/Accounting role
- Operational experience in food and beverage is preferred
- Accounting / Finance Degree preferred
- High level of computer literacy with proficiency in Excel
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
