JOB SUMMARY
AerCap Materials, Inc. is seeking this strategic role to lead the strategic direction, development, and execution of sales initiatives for airframe components. This senior leadership role involves driving revenue growth, building and maintaining key customer relationships, and overseeing a high-performing sales team. The successful candidate will leverage deep industry knowledge, market insights, and a customer-centric approach to position the company as a leader in airframe component solutions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for airframe components, aligning with company goals and market trends.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals, setting performance targets and ensuring accountability.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with airlines, aircraft lessors, aircraft manufacturers (OEMs), and maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) providers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior executives at customer organizations.
- Collaborate with engineering, product development, and supply chain teams to ensure product and service offerings meet customer specifications and delivery timelines.
- Monitor market conditions, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to adapt sales approaches and maintain a competitive edge.
- Forecast sales performance, prepare budgets, and report on key metrics.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and customer meetings to enhance brand visibility and credibility.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, export regulations, and company policies.
- Drive contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and long-term agreements to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS, QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
Educational/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Aviation, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
- 7 years of experience in aerospace sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of selling airframe components to OEMs, airlines, and MROs.
- Strong understanding of airframe systems, LRU functionality, and aerospace market dynamics.
Key Competencies
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
- Analytical mindset with experience in sales forecasting, budgeting, and market analysis.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of aerospace regulations (e.g., FAA, EASA) and supply chain processes is a plus.
