About Aerial Patrol:
Aerial Patrol specializes in the inspection of transmission power lines, gas pipelines, and associated easements using helicopters, drones (UAS), and airplanes. We have been providing services to the utility and oil/gas industry since 1983. Our services include, but are not limited to, aerial inspection patrols, aerial photography and videography support (standard videography, infrared videography, LiDAR/LDAR surveys), visual aerial surveys, and construction support. We are an FAA approved Part 135 helicopter charter company and have an unparalleled safety record. We are seeking a highly motivated Commercial Helicopter Pilot to join our team.
Job Summary:
As a Commercial Helicopter Pilot at Aerial Patrol, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating helicopters for the services mentioned above. You will work closely with our operations team to ensure smooth and successful flights, adhering to all safety regulations and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Operate helicopters safely and efficiently, following all applicable regulations and procedures
- Perform pre-flight and post-flight inspections of aircraft
- Maintain accurate flight logs and records
- Communicate effectively with air traffic control, customers, and other team members
- Contribute to the overall safety and success of our operations
Qualifications:
Required:
- Current and valid FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with helicopter rating
- Current and valid FAA Class II Medical Certificate
- Minimum of 1,000 total helicopter Pilot in Command (PIC) flight hours
- Minimum of 500 turbine helicopter flight hours
- Ability to travel for temporary operations outside of our local aera
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills
- Strong commitment to safety and prof decision-making skills
- Strong commitment to safety and professionalism
Preferred:
- Minimum of 1,500 total helicopter Pilot in Command (PIC) flight hours
- Bell 206B, 206L, and 505 pilot training/experience
- Helicopter instrument rating (IFR)
- Night flying experience
- Helicopter CFI/CFII
- Current and valid FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Airplane SEL rating
- Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic certification
