What are the responsibilities and job description for the Drone Pilot position at Aerial Production Services, Inc.?
Aerial Production Services, Inc. is a Drone Service Provider for telecom, energy and construction industries. We leverage pilots with specialized expertise (and proven experience) flying specific, sensitive assets. Our brand is heavily trusted in the drone service industry as having the most capable pilots that can quickly deploy anywhere in the nation; having flown over 45,000 sites across 49 states. We are currently looking for exceptional pilots located in ND, SD, MN, IA, NE, KS, and MO to help support new projects. This is contract work only but could lead to full time employment for those pilots that separate themselves from the pack as the best of the best .

With experience flying any of:
- Telecommunications - Cell towers, rooftops, water tanks, etc...
- Energy - power lines/towers, solar, gas/oil pipeline, etc...
- Construction - mapping, progress shots, etc...
- Residential/Commercial buildings - roofs, marketing, inspection, etc...
- Mapping - roads, land, survey, etc...
Must have the following:
- FAA Part 107 Certification
- Valid, state issued Driver's License
- Mavic 3 Enterprise (M3E) drone capable of flying 6 hours in a day (extra batteries).
- RTK Module
- Aviation Liability Insurance of at least $1 million (ability to provide Certificate of Insurance as proof of insurance)
- Internet connectivity (includes on the road) allowing for file uploads, document review, and interaction with other cloud-based applications
- Cell phone with nation-wide coverage
Must be capable of:
- Flying up to 6 hours in a day (excludes travel and downtime)
- Connecting to NTRIP and basic understanding of RTK setup
- Recharging equipment 'on-the-road' (batteries, controllers, tablets, etc...)
- Attending project-specific training of specialized flight plans
- Driving to remote locations (off road)
- Following project-specific flight plans
- Following all FAA guidelines to ensure each location can be flown as scheduled, in a safe manner
- Performing a formal Risk Assessment prior to any/all flights
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $50,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekends as needed
