Key Responsibilities
1. Machine Operation
- Set up and operate CNC lathe and mill machines according to production specifications and job orders.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD designs to determine machining operations and ensure accurate production.
- Load raw materials into the machine and set up tooling and fixtures as required.
- Monitor machine operations to detect any malfunctions or deviations from specifications and make necessary adjustments.
2. Quality Control
- Inspect finished parts and components using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Identify and address any defects or non-conformities in the produced parts.
- Maintain accurate records of production runs, quality checks, and any issues encountered during the machining process.
3. Maintenance and Troubleshooting
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC lathe and mill machines to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any mechanical or technical issues that arise during machine operation.
- Collaborate with maintenance personnel to schedule and perform preventative maintenance tasks.
4. Safety and Compliance
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Comply with industry regulations and company policies regarding machine operation and workplace safety.

Education and Experience

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
