Aerie Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Therapist to join our dynamic multidisciplinary treatment team. As a crucial member of our organization, you’ll play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive clinical services to adolescents in need.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the mental health needs of clients in the PHP and IOP.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions to address various mental health issues, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
- Provide crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing acute emotional distress.
- Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and clinical supervision sessions to enhance professional development.
- Offer psychoeducation to clients and their families, promoting understanding of mental health issues and coping strategies.
- Collaborate with Aerie Healthcare treatment team, parent/guardian(s), and external providers to support program participant discharge and transition planning and execution.
- Utilizing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, ensure that all services provided are appropriately documented per best practices.
- Stay informed about best practices, treatment modalities, and developments in the field of mental health.
- Adhere to ethical standards and maintain client confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent).
- Experience working in a partial hospitalization or intensive outpatient setting preferred.
- Strong understanding of various therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients and the interdisciplinary team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage a diverse caseload.
- Commitment to cultural competence and providing inclusive, client-centered care.
