As the VP, Global Strategic & Commercial Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Aerin’s long-term growth trajectory and market leadership. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will architect and execute a global marketing and commercialization strategy that drives widespread adoption of our therapies, positions Aerin as an industry leader, and accelerates new business opportunities. You will lead a high-impact team and work cross-functionally to influence product innovation, evidence generation, commercial execution, and brand positioning.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Enterprise Growth Strategy: Develop and execute a multi-year strategic marketing roadmap that strengthens market position, expands access to Aerin’s technologies, and unlocks new revenue streams. Identify emerging market opportunities and shape strategies for sustained business expansion.
- Market Leadership & Brand Strategy: Define and elevate Aerin’s brand as the leading innovator in ENT care, establishing category leadership through differentiated positioning, compelling storytelling, and omnichannel engagement strategies.
- Portfolio & Commercial Strategy: Partner with R&D, Clinical, and Market Access teams to shape Aerin’s product portfolio strategy—guiding lifecycle management, evidence generation, and market development efforts to maximize impact and value creation.
- Commercial Program Excellence: Drive high-impact product launches and commercial initiatives that accelerate therapy adoption and establish new standards of care. Develop innovative HCP and patient engagement programs that fuel sustained growth.
- Sales Force Enablement & Go-to-Market Execution: Build best-in-class sales enablement tools, training, and commercial programs that empower the field team to drive market penetration and deliver against ambitious revenue goals.
- Customer-Centric Insights & Market Intelligence: Lead deep market analytics and customer segmentation to anticipate evolving needs, optimize commercial strategy, and inform data-driven decision-making.
- Strategic Communications & Stakeholder Engagement: Shape Aerin’s external voice and commercial narrative, delivering high-impact presentations and strategic messaging to the Board of Directors, investors, key opinion leaders, and market influencers.
- Marketing Investment Optimization: Oversee global marketing investments, ensuring resources are strategically deployed to drive maximum business impact and return on investment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 15 years of progressive commercial experience in the medical device industry, including at least 5 years in senior marketing leadership roles.
- Proven track record of leading global marketing strategies that have driven significant revenue growth, market expansion, and brand leadership.
- Expertise in portfolio strategy, commercialization, and product lifecycle management within the medical device sector.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to translate market trends and competitive intelligence into actionable strategies.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing marketing teams.
