Job Description:
The control panel assembler position is responsible for meticulously building, wiring, and testing electrical control panels by carefully following layout drawings and schematics, installing components like programmable logic controllers (PLC), relays, and wiring harnesses, and ensuring the final product functions properly through thorough testing, all while adhering to safety standards and quality control measures.
Key responsibilities:

Accurately read and understand layout and assembly drawings to properly layout components on the control panel.

Mount and secure various electrical components like programmable logic controllers (PLC), switches, relays, circuit breakers, and terminal blocks onto the panel according to the design.

Cut, strip, and crimp wires to connect components according to the wiring diagram, ensuring proper polarity and wire gauge.

Route and secure cables within the control panel to maintain organization and prevent interference.

Keeping the workstation clean and organized, following safety protocols.
Required skills:
- Hand dexterity: Ability to handle small components and perform precise wiring tasks.
- Attention to detail: Meticulous focus on ensuring all connections are made correctly and components are properly installed.
- Basic tool usage: Proficiency with hand tools like wire strippers, crimpers, and soldering irons.
- Basic math skills: Understanding measurements and calculations for proper assembly.
- Physically able to lift 70lbs and work on feet for long periods.
- Applicants must work well in a team environment.

- Electrical knowledge: Understanding basic electrical principles, including voltage, current, and circuit theory.

Company Description:
Aerinox specializes in the emission reduction system of large stationary diesel and natural gas engines. At our facility in Johnstown, we engineer and design the emission reduction systems. Followed by the assembly and testing of the control panels and pump skids. All panels are built to either UL508A or UL698A.
Compensation:

· Pay: $ 22.50 to $27.50 per hour depending on level of experience.
