What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Sales Representative position at Aerion Rental Services LLC?
The Field Sales Representative implements sales programs for company key products and services. This position maintains contact with key markets and customers while maximizing utilization rates. The Field Sales Representative plans and directs all sales activities to maximize profit from all segments of the market, including getting customers’ invoices signed and taking care of the customer’s operational needs.
- Must have Outside Oilfield Sales experience
- Resolve Sales and Operations issues.
- Participate in the weekly Sales to Operations meeting.
- Communicate with Operations regarding customers’ operational issues and needs.
- Ensure all receipts are turned in to Procurement in a timely manner.
- Properly utilize expense accounts to maximize return on investment.
- Participate in weekly Sales Team meetings regarding upcoming jobs to ensure that equipment and personnel are available to meet the customer’s needs.
- Keep up to date on customers’ well-informed and update Field Supervisors, as needed.
- Build and maintain relationships with key accounts by Face-to-Face visits with customers daily
- Visit each customer’s rig site locations and/or field offices on a bi-weekly basis.
- Resolve customers’ issues by listening, investigating, and developing a corrective plan of action.
- Follow up with the customer to ensure the customer’s issues are resolved and needs are being met.
- Keep the customer informed of the benefits and efficiencies realized due to Aerion’s performance.
- Get invoices signed by the company man within five days of the invoice being generated.
- Inform the Accounts Receivable Department of signed and outstanding invoices on a weekly basis.
- Maintain open communications with key accounts to ensure that Aerion remains knowledgeable about upcoming projects.
