AERMOR LLC is seeking qualified candidates to provide technical engineering support services for U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), Office of Test and Evaluation (CG-926). This will be to support the oversight of test and evaluation of Coast Guard Aviation and Surface Ship platforms and systems. Candidates will be assisting CG-926 government testing professionals with their duty of providing operational testing and evaluation for the CG-9 Acquisition Program Offices.

Responsibilities Include:
- The Test Engineer supports functional area experts on requirements verification matters in the acquisition planning stages and serves as a Domain Manager.
- Support requirements development from the test perspective, documentation development for acquisition planning and project management from mission analysis and requirements generation through design, development, production, and deployment.
- Support the transition to and from as well as the integration of Developmental / Operational Testing.
- Develop policy outlined in the Major Systems Acquisition Manual (MSAM) and the Non-Major Acquisitions Procedures (NMAP) manual and provide program test and evaluation oversight and support for all major and select non-major assets, including cutters, small boats, aircraft assets as well as C4ISR, IT, cyber security and logistics capabilities.
- Plan and execute additional requirements development as well as verification and validation test-related tasks.
- Perform technical engineering work such as: test management planning/strategy/performance, test document drafting, Developmental Testing/Operational Testing coordination, requirements verification tracking, test plan drafting/implementation, test Contract Deliverable Requirements List (CDRL) review/comment, test witness/participation, test action item tracking, risk assessment/mitigation, and Verification Performance Report (VPR) development.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as management, engineering, technology, or systems acquisition.
- 5-10 years of experience applying their specialty in a systems acquisition environment. Performing test and evaluation duties in a systems acquisition environment.
- 2 years of relevant experience in direct support of U.S. Coast Guard, or U.S. Navy aviation and/or surface warfare programs.
