Location: Norfolk, VirginiaExperience: 4 YearsClearance Type: SecretAERMOR LLCis seeking qualified candidates for the role of aDatabase Administratorto work directly with customers to determine needs; develop plans, designs, and development schedules; and coordinate systems development.Please note: This is not a remote position and the contract ends September 29th, 2025.Responsibilities Include:Applies knowledge of computer science concepts and techniques in the design,development installation, maintenance, and management of relational databases to satisfy engineering, scientific, orbusiness data acquisition and management. Develops and maintains necessary public synonyms, database links, anduser access controls. Provides database tuning and monitoring to ensure effective and efficient data access to includecomparison of performance ratios; tuning of memory configuration, disk I/O, and application software; design andmaintenance of the physical layout of the databases; and calculation of disk space requirements for database tablesand indexes Is responsible for segments or phases of broader, more complex projects.Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree
