Position Summary

As a "team of one" the IT Manager is the primary point of contact of all companywide IT initiatives. This on-site position has the responsibility to serve as the day-to-day interface across all business units by managing IT infrastructure, services, and security. The IT Manager has a pivotal role that requires a strong understanding of technology, superb organization and communication skills, and the ability to align IT initiatives with business goals.

• Continuously improves customer experience and serves as primary point of contact to the business for all company IT operations including system administration, helpdesk support and IT infrastructure.
• Oversee, develop, and ensure scalability and reliability of employee-facing technology platforms, audio/visual equipment, and active directory infrastructure.
• Manage installations and maintenance of all computer resources.
• Reviews and analyzes the effectiveness and efficiency of existing solutions and develops strategies or proposes tools and applications that can add business value.
• Creates and aligns the technology and information road map, policies, best practices, and budget to the company's business plans, and continuously monitors and adjusts to changing business and environmental conditions.
• Ensures the company's data remains secure by keeping up to date on the latest cybersecurity threats and findings and implementing preventative measures.
• Proactively monitor all systems access for irregularities. Re-access security practices and recommend improvements where necessary.
• Maintain an effective Disaster Recovery Plan which includes regular, cyclical testing.
• Ensures technology remains in compliance with security and data privacy laws, policies, standards including accessibility, vulnerability, and website inventory management.
• Leads contract negotiations and overall vendor management of the company's technology hardware, software, mobile and field technology, and cloud or 3rd party providers, while always driving for cost control and resource optimization.
• Communicate effectively and efficiently with internal and external customers, providing solutions whenever needed.
• Maintain a collaborative, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers and colleagues.
• Maintain reliable, regular, and predictable attendance.
• Successful completion and favorable results of pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background check.
• Adhere to all Aero Air policies and standards of conduct.
• Other duties as directed.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex IT concepts into understandable, actionable plans for all levels of staff.
• Experience with mobile device management.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively and professionally in person, on the phone, and through written correspondences.
• The ability to demonstrate poise, tact, and professionally interact and communicate with employees, vendors, and individuals at all levels of the organization and community.

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, related field or a combination of equivalent education and work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in IT infrastructure administration, network administration and support, IT security and operations management.
• Comprehensive understanding of MacOS and Windows OS support and maintenance procedures.
• Proficiency with Windows Server, VMWare, Exchange Server, MS Office365, Azure backup, Active Directory, Dynamics, Crystal Reports.
• Experience with Apple IPAD MDM configuration, firewall configuration, and Email filtering configuration and monitoring.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 80 pounds with assistance.
• Requires the ability to regularly stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl and climb ladder or stairs.
• Accurate hand/eye coordination.
• Finger dexterity is required as well as hand strength, with the ability to grasp, lift, push and pull.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
