Aero Constructors is seeking an applicant to fill a full-time Tower Technician position. We perform tower construction and maintenance for leading wireless providers, utility companies, broadcast companies, and government entities primarily across the states of Colorado, Wyoming and Montana, with with an office located in Ault, CO.
Job Description:
The qualified applicant will participate and perform all aspects of new tower construction, upgrades, and maintenance of existing structures, lighting systems, radio equipment, antennas, and RF transmission lines. We have found that this position is a good fit for rock climbers, those with farm and ranch background, and individuals that are mechanically inclined. However, these are not prerequisites and do not always hold true.
This position requires travel for up to 2 weeks at a time.
Qualifications:
- $20-$28 per hour DOE
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Must be at least 21 years old
- References are required and will be followed up on.
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
- Basic computer skills.
- Organized with a strong attention to detail and capable of working with minimum supervision.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communications skills.
- Must be able to read, comprehend, and follow instructions.
- Supply basic hand tools and appropriate outdoor clothing.
- Applicant must have the ability physically and mentally to work at heights in excess of 150' Employee to follow OSHA safety policies and procedures.
- Enjoy working outdoors, sometimes adverse weather conditions.
- Overtime at 1.5x
- $35 per day meal per diem with overnight stay away from home office
