Manages all the activities associated with product assigned to orders and being shipped from the facility. Responsible for the staffing of all shifts and provides the necessary tools for the staff to complete their daily work to customer expectations. Must be a proactive leader as well as foster a cooperative work environment in the Operations Department.
Scope of Position:
Manages all the activities associated with product assigned to orders and being shipped from the facility. Reporting Relationships:
- Reports to the Operations Manager
- Direct Reports- fulfillment teams
Key Accountabilities:
- Execution of daily communications with teams utilizing SCOPE (Safety, Customer, Operations, People, Execution) for associate engagement
- Development of staffing plans on a daily basis to ensure profitability targets are achieved
- Deployment of process management through all parts of the operation for which the Manager has responsibility
- Understanding and ensure customer quality requirements are achieved and Aero Quality Management processes are executed
- Coaching to Supervisors, Leads, and Associates for skills development and career progression
- Execution of the performance management process
- Deployment of best practices through process audit and follow up for continuous performance improvement
- Drive execution and compliance with 5S programs
- Develop and audit SOP’s for consistency of performance
- Development of counter measures to address root cause failures identified by Supervisors or others in the organization
- Ownership of Aero business processes and practices in customer facing situations
Daily Cadence:
- Balance Demand and Labor to drive financial performance
- Deploy daily labor plan to supervisors
- Manage Temp Labor requests/counts
- Manage Employee Performance (Disciplinary Action, Career Development for Supervisors)
- Coach to Process Improvement
- Define Productivity Standards
- Define Quality Standards
- Measure Performance to Plan
- Drive Daily Customer Planning
- Serve as primary liaison with Customer Experience
- Resolve Customer Issues
- Manage/Drive Internal Process Resolution
- Drive Supervisor accountable to Safety/5S Policies and Programs
- Manage work assets – Ensure teams have functioning tools necessary to complete work
Qualifications:
- 3-5 Years of prior Industry Experience
- Advanced Computer Skills (Including WMS, Email, Spreadsheet, word processing functionality)
- Mathematical Reasoning (5 years)
- RF Scanner Experience
- Equipment Operator Certification (Based on Department needs)
- Must speak English, Spanish as secondary preferred
- Advanced Report Writing
- Data Analysis
- Financial Acumen
- 3-5 Years Prior Management Experience
Measurements of Effectiveness:
- Meet or exceed departmental metrics
- Manage total labor cost as a percentage of labor sales to below 50%

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
