Position Summary
The Dock Associate / Backup Driver will handle the receiving dock duties on a daily basis, as well as be a backup driver to safely and independently deliver and pick up parts at various facilities, when the primary driver is unavailable. Previous dock and driving experience for a manufacturing company is required.
Essential Functions
· Load and unload trucks.
· Deliver parts to appropriate business units.
· Frequent use of forklift and pallet jack.
· Create pallets for suppliers and shipments.
· Oiling and washing parts, as well as maintaining organization of receiving area and dock.
· Safely deliver and pick up parts at various supplier facilities when primary driver is unavailable.
· Other activities, duties or responsibilities may change at any time with or without notice.

Experience and Education
· Manufacturing dock experience is required.
· Previous manufacturing driving is a strong preference.
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Compensation
$35000 - $50000 / year
Compensation is paid hourly and may be adjusted based on level of experience, overtime and shift.
