Receiving Associate - 1st or 2nd Shift - (1121)

The outlook for the company is strong as it continues to set higher goals for sustained success together.   Position Summary Support the company by handling day-to-day incoming and outgoing product and non-product to ensure accurate deliveries as well as reviewing outside service orders and certificates of conformance to meet quality and schedule goals of the company.   Essential Functions ·         Experience working in an aerospace receive-in environment (or relevant experience) a must. ·         Firm understanding of outside service purchase orders and outside supplier certificates of conformance (C of C) documentation a must. ·         Sorting incoming and outgoing product. ·         Receiving, stocking and stacking product. ·         Pulling, packing and loading product. ·         Ability to drive a van and / or box truck with a valid drivers license and good driving record a must. ·         Good written and verbal communication skills ·         Strong sense of time organization and urgency ·         Able to work independently and with a team ·         Maintain a clean work environment inside and outside. This includes but not limited to the dock area, receiving desk, van and parking dock.   Competencies ·         Ability to lift 50 lbs a must ·         Communication proficiency ·         Forklift and pallet jack experience a plus   Qualifications ·         High school diploma, GED or equivalent ·         One year logistics, retail or customer service experience preferred ·         Microsoft Office proficiency preferred   Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities.   Work Environment The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
