What are the responsibilities and job description for the 1st Shift Warehouse Associate position at Aero Global Logistics?
Aero Global Logistics is a third-party logistics provider, we have openings for a full-time warehouse associate at our coming soon Memphis, TN location.
Efficiently sort, handle, load, and unload palletized and non-palletized freight using pallet jacks, and by hand as needed. Forklift duties.
Dock associates will also be tasked with securing freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies in a safe, efficient manner, adhering to company-mandated safety procedures.
Job Requirements: Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and demonstrate basic written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to process basic math calculations. English language is a plus.
Employees must have a valid driver’s license and or reliable transportation to work.
Ability to lift freight and other objects up to 50 lbs. frequently, and greater than 75 lbs. occasionally is required.
Preferred experience: Prior dock/warehouse experience in the transportation industry, as well as prior experience loading, and unloading trailers, sorting and processing freight, and a desire to work in a team atmosphere a must.
