Job Description
Aero Global Logistics' mission is to be a comprehensive and progressive dedicated delivery service and 3rd party logistics, provider.
We currently have openings for experienced Administrative Assistant/Recruiter at our Winchester VA location. This position will report directly to the Terminal Manager. The qualified candidate will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day data entry, resolving customer service issues, reporting customer issues to the operations teams, interacting with our drivers to ensure processes are followed, general administrative functions, and will also lead the recruiting of new employees for two Winchester contracts.
Responsibilities to include but not be limited to:
- Contacting customers, addressing all issues and concerns.
- Log customer complaints and follow through until complete
- Ownership of the driver check-in process
- Help maintain carrier compliance files – verifying insurance and operating authority.
- Track fuel cards, driver phones, toll pass devices
- Prepare department statistical reports.
- Handle incoming driver paperwork.
- General office functions such as copying, filing, and answering phones.
- Recruiting of new employment
- Maintaining communication with our payroll company
Preferred:
- Experience in Microsoft Office
- Experience as a Customer Service Representative
- Experience in Accounts Receivable
Shift is Monday - Friday
8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
