Our drivers are our priority and the driving force behind our success. Aero Global Logistics (AGL) is expanding and seeking productive, successful driver associates to join our expanding team.

We are currently seeking Class A driver associates to service our customers from the Winchester, VA area. We provide excellent, well-maintained equipment and the latest in technology including Fleet dispatch, GPS, and all scanning functions from one integrated device.

ROUTE DETAILS:

All DDS routes are overnight unattended routes that run M-F nightly. The hours and pay are based on the route chosen.

JOB SUMMARY:

Aero Global Logistics is a DDS company that hauls Ford car parts to dealers along the East Coast. All routes are unattended, OVERNIGHT routes. Each route has a dedicated start time with deliver by times that must be met for each dealer. We offer paid on hands training and weekly pay.

AERO DETAILS

$1,500 SIGN ON BONUS payable after 90 days

$200 per month incentive bonus

Paid weekly – Monday (paper check) Tuesday (direct deposit)

§After 90 days you will have 401K, dental, vision and paid holidays. We also offer long term, short term, and life insurance that is paid for by the company.

After 1 year you will receive 1-week paid vacation.

We are in the process of purchasing health insurance and will review that offer date once we know it.

We have an onsite dispatcher that can assist with any issues or concerns that may come up during your route.

All drivers are supplied a fuel card, iPhone for scanning, and a route book that gives step by step instructions and details for each stop.

Our equipment is leased from Penske. This route is driven in a Penske day cab with a 48' trailer. The trailer is equipped with a lift gate for easy unloads. You will oversee maintaining cleanliness and general upkeep of this unit. Penske will perform all repairs and PM services on this vehicle. If there is ever a breakdown while you are on duty, you will be paid breakdown pay. If you ever assist by taking your unit to Penske for service, you will be reimbursed for your time

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A CDL vehicle safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
• Transport goods using dry van types of trailers,
• Load and unload freight, utilizing pallet jacks and other equipment as necessary.
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to optimize time and fuel consumption.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure roadworthiness.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and communicate with dispatch regarding any issues or delays.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL license
• Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with tractor-trailers
• Familiarity with manual transmission and various trailer types.
• Experience in delivery driving, load and unload procedures, and route driving
• Strong understanding of freight handling and safety regulations

Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more repeatedly throughout a shift

• Must have DOT medical card or be able to get it within 30 days of employment
• Must have clean driving record (no DUI or reckless acts)
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test & physical

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $200.00 - $300.00 per day
