The Opportunity – Aero Precision is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team. This position will be involved in accounts receivable, accounts payable, and various general accounting responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be proactive, committed, a team player, and capable of managing a range of accounting tasks independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and enter vendor invoices into accounts payable.
- Enter credit card receipts and manage coding.
- Prepare customer invoices and apply customer payments.
- Enter banking transactions into accounting system and ensure proper coding in general ledger.
- Reconcile bank statements.
- Prepare month-end close journal entry vouchers and account reconciliations.
- Provide information to external auditors.
- Able to identify growth opportunities within the department.
- Other accounting duties as deemed necessary.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
- Ability to manager multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexible in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment.
- Experience in ERP systems, SAP strongly preferred.
