What are the responsibilities and job description for the Resource Manager position at Aero Propulsion Support,Inc.?
The Resource Manager will provide oversight and support to Management, and Customer Service to support the activity and direction of Aero Propulsion Support, Inc.
Essential Functions
- Planning: Identify the resources needed for production excellence, prioritization of work performed in the cell per production schedules.
- Assign resources to projects based on project requirements and organizational priorities , Track resource utilization and identify potential bottlenecks using shop metrics and ERP system .
- Capacity planning: Ensure that the organization has the right resources and capacity to deliver upcoming projects, Promote and drive cross-training for all Cell employees.
- Recruit the right employees for the right functions, Bridge skill gaps and ensure that the right team with the right skills are in the right place at the right time, Performance evaluation: Evaluate the performance of direct reports .
- Support and enforce Company Policies, i.e. attendance, breaktime, cleaning and shop instructions .
- Lean thinking, FIFO (First in First Out) flow, Quick change tooling opportunity, Tools labeled and stored properly, Cell member cleaning and Work Cell flow design.
Job Qualifications
- AS/ B.S. In business or technology a plus
- At least 2-4 years of directly related experience.
- Thorough knowledge of industry standards
- Good mechanical, analytical, and technical skills.
- Good administrative, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
