Snow Laborer Overview
The Snow Laborer works with a team to keep high foot-traffic areas on the airfield safe and clear of ice / snow to allow continued airport operations. They will perform tasks that involve manual labor related to snow removal, such as shoveling, using a snowblower and spreading snow-melting chemicals. We are looking for hardy, active people that want to move around at work and learn more about the facilities management field. Rest breaks, snacks and warming opportunities during shifts will be provided.
Snow Laborer Responsibilities
- Shovel snow and / or operate snowblower to remove snow in designated areas
- Load and unload bags of salt into spreader or bucket
- Apply snow / ice management chemicals with a push spreader or manually
- Accurately and promptly follow directions from supervisor
