Maintenance Coordinator Essential Responsibilities
- Manage all maintenance activities for multiple locations in a designated territory and within Fleet Department guidelines.

Maintain area equipment inventory and establish appropriate equipment hierarchy.

Manage the collective mechanic resources for multiple sites within the NY area to maximize efficiency and leverage available resources.
- Ensure proper work order compliance.
- Prioritize work in the NY area locations JFK, LGA, EWR that need to come into the Westbury Shop.
- Establish a weekly work pipeline and assign associated resources.
- Work directly with Fleet and Base Managers to ensure all maintenance needs are prioritized appropriately and fulfilled in a timely fashion.
- Ensure all Maintenance Program PM activities defined by the CMMS system “Maintain X” are conducted in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the Fleet Department on the development of PM programs.

Coordinate Snow Maintenance Teams for Storm events.
- Schedule available resources.
- Will require active onsite support.

Aid in the development of Maintenance reporting for Local and Sr. Management on an ongoing basis.

Maintenance Coordinator Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to effectively train employees in operations systems and functions.
- May need to go to local airports to work on equipment.
- May require hands on use of power tools and equipment.
- Heavy equipment operators experience a plus.
- Minimum 3 to 5 yrs. experience with heavy equipment and snow operations.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Able to lift to 50 lbs.
- Required to walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, lift, grasp, carry, push, and pull.
- Driver’s license required.
- Must be able to pass airport badge screening process.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Willing to work in non-climate-controlled conditions.
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite—Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Teams.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to prioritize.
- Ability to work independently, positive approach in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to travel (average 25% to 40%)
