Production Manager - Aircraft Maintenance (LAL)

While this position is based in Lakeland, FL, occasional travel to our Sanford location may be required.


Summary:

The Production Manager is responsible for the work the repair stations accomplish on a specific aircraft and must be appropriately certificated per 14 CFR Part 65.


Duties:

  • Validating the work to be accomplished, the details of the technical data, procedures, and record-keeping requirements
  • Providing a plan for manpower that includes skill sets, required labor levels, and timing suitable for scheduling the work in an efficient manner
  • Assigning work to appropriate supervisors and Lead Technicians
  • Performing the duties and responsibilities of a Supervisor for his/her staff and crew
  • Coordinating with the Planning Department and Project Managers with work scheduling, progress monitoring, and work estimates for completion
  • Coordinating with the Crew Leads for work scheduling, progress monitoring, and work estimates for completion
  • Ensuring all assigned hangar and line maintenance work is properly documented and accomplished with approved or acceptable data
  • Performing other duties as directed or required


Requirements:

  • Airframe and Powerplant Certifications (Required, no exceptions)
  • Minimum 5 years of heavy and/or line maintenance experience
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at a professional working proficiency
  • Understand and follow maintenance manuals and IPCs
  • B737, B757, or A320 experience preferred
  • PTF Modification experience preferred
  • Minimum 2 years relevant supervisory experience
