What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Control Clerk position at Aero-Tech Engineering, Inc.?
Summary: Responsible for working closely with contract administrators, manufacturing planners and estimators to provide up-to-date engineering data by performing the following duties.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Manages customer provided engineering data. Supports engineering/planning/quoting activities with up-to-date engineering data.
Communicates with customer and orders engineering data as needed.
Maintains and/or upkeeps engineering data master.
Controls and/or tracks distributions of customer provided and internal data.
Utilizes customer provided network to download up-to-date data.
Responsible for revision control internally and externally.
Participates in the improvement process by utilizing computerized database.
Proposes feasible solutions for future overall process improvements.
Demonstrates the authority to stop any production order for quality concerns.
Performs other similar or related duties as necessary.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge, Skills and Other Abilities: Must be able to read customer provided data
