What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Assurance Manager position at Aeroantenna Technology?
AeroAntenna Technology Inc. is looking for an experienced hands-on Quality Manager to join our Quality team.
Duties and Responsibilities
Hire, manage, and train personnel to meet highest quality and reliability standards.
Maintain AS9100 and ISO17025 certifications.
Collaborate with management and line production staff to achieve most efficient quality processes.
Manage AAT supplier base.
Manage product repair.
Respond to customer inquiries regarding quality audits and after-market services.
Manage AAT calibration program.
Monitor and manage outstanding quality issues.
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor's or equivalent degree in mechanical or electrical engineering and 5 years quality assurance management or key role experience are required.
Certified Quality Engineer or Manager designation is preferred.
Excellent root cause and corrective action skills for electro-mechanical devices.
Excellent understanding of AS9100 and ISO17025 standards and implementation.
Excellent writing, reading, and communication skills.
Understanding of FAA procedures as relate to TSO, PMA and DMIR is highly preferred.
Proficient understanding of ESD techniques and methods. Experience with lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma or in manufacturing environments are preferred.
