Mission description
The Senior IS/IT Manager is responsible for the delivery of IT services to the business and for the effective management of IS/IT resources of the site (human, hardware, software, etc.). The role includes responsibility for Safran Evacuation sites in the United States, Mexico and related business systems, serving the sites as well as manufacturing units or users working for Evacuation in other sites. The IT team is part of the global Safran Aerosystems IS/IT department, and the business uses services running locally, as well as services delivered by Safran Aerosystems global team and Safran Group services. The Senior IS/IT Manager is part of the Americas IS/IT Management Team and will work within the global SAFRAN Aerosystems IS/IT Perimeter. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Supports/assists the CIO, the Regional IS/IT Manager Americas and other members of the IS management team to deliver SAFRAN IS and global projects and actions (including security). Provides a Hierarchical or Functional leadership role to all IS/IT personnel and site. Advises Senior Managers on the effective use of technology to enhance the business. Implements and maintains with the business all identified IS service levels. Implements and maintains in accordance with the CISO: Safran Minimum Security Rules, Security audits, Cyber security Self assessments compliance with NIST standards. Provides quality assurance by operating the Quality Management System for IT, ensuring that the system is consistent and globally defined. Leads process and performance reviews on the managed perimeter. Manages the review and evaluation of technology proposals. Determines priorities and deliverables for IS/IT Projects. Contributes to the global Safran Aerosystems IS/IT MTP/budget for investment and expenses in his perimeter. Reports on IT Service performance metrics to ensure that appropriate service levels are maintained. Adheres to safe work practices and contributes to the evolution of the health, safety, and environmental program and culture; Regular, predictable attendance is required. Other duties may be assigned.
Education and/or Experience Qualifications/Prerequisites: Advanced degree, MBA, bachelor's, or equivalents preferably in IS/IT, Computer Science/ Business, or any other related and relevant subjects that are strongly backed by the required experience and competency profile. Ideally ITIL Qualified, but not essential. Ability to be security cleared. Candidate MUST pass a thorough background check. Experience: Essential in: An experienced business/technical/line manager. International management. IS Budgetary/financial management. Proven Project Management skills. Business Analysis. Business Process/technology evolution. Management of full lifecycles of technologies and service delivery processes. IS/IT Service Management/ITIL. Good track record of effective incident, problem closure. Functional leadership, coaching and development of resources. Desirable in: Manufacturing, Engineering, Aerospace, Automotive Industry experience. English, Spanish and French Speaking. ERP Background. Knowledge/Skills Essential: Ability to motivate and lead professional technical people. International Management. Ability to Program/Project Manage concurrently a large portfolio of IS Investments/Change programs. Ability to build/identify IS/IT requirements in the support of business strategy. (business analysis skills) Gap analysis and creative problem solving. Ability to Build, maintain and manage the relationship with IS/IT providers and functional management. Ability to manage and market the image of the IS Function and its mission. ITIL or other IT Service Management Methodology Techniques and Expertise. Ability to create measures that establish realization of benefits and delivery of service. Good understanding of Technical architectures, applications and information security.
