Our QA department focuses on auditing, laboratory activities, inspection (NDT and dimensional) and problem solving of process and products. As the QA System, you will interact regularly with all functions of the plant, be in link with other QA System from other plants (Mexico and France), manage the audit plan of the plant in accordance with AS9100, customer and internal requirements. This position reports directly to the Quality Manager.
Job Specifications Bachelor's degree in appropriate science, engineering or engineering technology field or three 3 years of manufacturing experience as a Quality engineer or Manufacturing engineer, or equivalent combination of education and experience required Experience with AS9100D, ISO17025 preferred Proficiency in leading RCCAs Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio Requires a strict attention to detail Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Working Conditions Lighting and temperature are adequate. Noise level in the work environment is usually quiet. Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts. Candidates for positions with Safran Aerospace Composites must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Employment eligibility verification will be required at the time of hire.
