AeroControlex began our aerospace manufacturing and design under the name Great Lakes Manufacturing in Cleveland, Ohio in 1945. Over the years, AeroControlex has established itself as an industry leader in the design and production of hydraulic, fuel, lubrication and coolant pumps.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Maintenance Technician to join our team, 50 hour work week. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to develop their skills in maintenance and repair within a dynamic work environment. The Junior Maintenance Technician will assist in the upkeep of various systems and equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and safety.
Duties:
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on systems, ensuring they operate efficiently.
* Utilize technical skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
* Collaborate with senior technicians on technical sales opportunities, providing support where necessary.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct inspections to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
* Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools.
* Read and interpret technical manuals.
* Proven experience in facilities maintenance and repair.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and manuals, plus.
* Experience with day to day operations in a machining/manufacturing environment.
* Excellent customer service skills to interact with internal teams and external vendors.
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Previous experience with plant and equipment maintenance.
* Basic knowledge of maintenance practices is preferred.
* Familiarity with low voltage systems, logic controllers and schematics a plus.
* Experience using testing equipment such as ammeters and ohmmeters
* Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
* Willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to maintenance tasks.
* A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a commitment to quality workmanship.
* Perform other duties assigned.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
