Why This Position is for You
We’re looking for a creative, curious technician with experience in mechanical skills but is really driven by learning about how things work. This job will allow you to be creative with tools to help you manufacture state-of-the-art equipment used to service the aviation industry. The Manufacturing Technician role requires someone to truly think outside the box when determining what should be customized for the job at hand. This role is seeking someone with experience in several different skill sets including mechanical work and manufacturing.~1 year of experience in manufacturing is preferred. Even someone with 15 years of experience will find challenges and satisfaction with this unique position.
Role Specifics:
- Onsite Warehouse
- Full-Time (40 hours minimum)
- Work Hours: 7:00am to 3:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Manufacture, assemble, and repair multiple types of equipment
- Learn and embrace lean manufacturing
- Troubleshooting and perform preventative maintenance on a variety of equipment
- Ability or willing to learn how to read drawings and schematics
- Perform other related tasks as assigned or required to support manufacturing operations
What is Required to be Successful in This Position
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bending, stooping, extended reaching, climbing ladders, and able to lift 50lbs
- Experience with general hand tools
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new requirements and environments
- Willing and able to follow required policies (i.e, DOT, FAA, Drug Testing, etc. as required)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year forklift operations experience
- 2 years mechanical equipment experience
- Machine Operation experience preferred but not necessary, employee should be willing to develop skills in necessary areas required for advancing on the job.
- Mechanical Apprenticeship in the craft or equivalent training at a trade, technical school, and /or military training equivalent.
