Are you ready to take on the challenge as an Advanced Wire EDM Operator? This role offers flexibility with available shifts on both 1st and 2nd shifts, reporting to our dedicated Shop Floor Supervisor.
Daily Responsibilities
- Uphold and enforce all company policies, creating a safe and efficient work environment.
- Use advanced blueprint readings to achieve exacting dimensions and tolerances.
- Operate and set up machines like the Mitsubishi MV2400ST Wire EDM, adapting to various tooling styles.
- Craft high-quality components from durable materials including Hastelloy and Inconel.
- Program machines accurately for different operational requirements, adhering to specifications.
- Measure finished products using advanced tools to ensure precision.
- Support CNC Programming teams by providing operational insights and solutions.
- Organize scheduling and document production processes through our ERP system.
- Be ready to work overtime, including weekends when necessary.
- Execute additional tasks as directed by Aerodyn management.
Qualifications We’re Looking For
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing R&D setting.
- Experience with the aerospace sector is highly desirable.
- Deep knowledge of CNC technologies and programming languages such as Mastercam/NX.
- Innate mechanical skills with the aptitude to develop unique solutions.
- Independent and team-oriented working capabilities.
- Professionalism in all conduct and communication.
- Travel requirements are minimal.
- Physical capability as required.
Core Skills Required
- Expert in GD&T methodologies.
- Proficiency with EDM machine operations.
