Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Meticulously interpreting blueprints and planning to achieve exacting tolerances between .0005”-.005”.
- Expertly setting up lathes with a variety of tooling such as boring jaws and collet chucks.
- Crafting intricate aerospace components from premium materials like Hastelloy and Inconel.
- Programming lathe specifications to align with detailed material and tooling guidelines.
- Conducting precise measurements on all completed parts with cutting-edge instruments like CMM and calipers before proceeding.
- Collaborating innovatively with CNC Programming teams for troubleshooting and optimizing production.
Machines & Technologies
You'll demonstrate your skills on equipment including:
- Okuma Models: LB3000, LB2000, LU300, LU400, V100R
- Both 2-4 axis and 5 axis CNC Lathes (Haas, Okuma)
