The Opportunity
Within Aeroflow, the Internal/SQL Engineering team is currently comprised of 5 engineers, a team lead, and a product owner.
- The Internal/SQL Engineering team currently serves the entire organization and is focused on providing programmatic solutions to business problems.
- We drive operational efficiency and ensure we are focused on business value.
Your Primary Responsibilities
We are currently seeking a SQL Engineer. Our SQL Engineers are typically responsible for
- Understanding business requirements and how they translate into SQL code
- Collaborating with a team of IT professionals to set specifications for new applications
- Designing creative prototypes according to specifications
- Writing high quality source code to program complete applications within deadlines
- Performing unit and integration testing before launch
- Conducting functional and non-functional testing
- Troubleshooting and debugging SQL queries, stored procedures, etc
- Evaluating existing business logic to reprogram, update, and add new features.
- Developing technical documents and handbooks to accurately represent SQL business logic
- Employee has an individual responsibility for knowledge of and compliance with laws, regulations, and policies.
- Compliance is a condition of employment and is considered an element of job performance
- Maintain HIPAA/patient confidentiality
- Other job duties assigned

Required Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in SQL and database management systems with a preference to those with additional programming language skills.
- Demonstrated experience working on projects requiring significant business insight.
- Preference given to candidates with experience in business operations in non-technical capacity (Operations, finance, supply chain, etc.)
- Must have 3 years SQL experience utilizing tech skills to enhance business processes.
- Preference given to candidates with 2 years experience in a non-technical business role interacting across multiple departments.
