The Opportunity
Within Aeroflow, the Sleep Billing Team is currently composed of 17 team members.
- The main focus of the team is to collect outstanding debt from health insurance or patients.
- The patients that we serve are patients that receive continuous positive airway and non-invasive ventilation equipment and supplies from Aeroflow Sleep.
- Sleep Billing is unique in that we have 3 teams within the one. One team consists of Customer Service Representatives who are the face of Aeroflow Sleep Billing. The second team is composed of junior and senior insurance specialists and the third team is our Prior Authorization team.
Your Primary Responsibilities
We are currently seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR). A CSR is typically responsible for:
- Assisting patients with billing/insurance/account operation needs
- High volume inbound and outbound phone work
- Insurance verification
- Clearly convey adjudicated claims and explanation of benefits to patients
- Verification of required medical documentation
- Provide excellent customer service through phone calls and emails
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities
- Performs other duties as required
- Employees have an individual responsibility for knowledge of and compliance with laws, regulations, and policies.
- Compliance is a condition of employment and is considered an element of job performance
- Maintain HIPAA confidentiality
- Other job duties assigned
Skills for Success
- High volume inbound and outbound phone work
- Self-disciplined, ability to multitask, excellent critical thinking skills, research, and work cohesively as team member
- A proven work history illustrating stability and reliability
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Maintain HIPAA confidentiality
Required Qualifications
- High inbound call volume, multi-phone line/Call center experience
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a professional, composed manner.
- Insurance, billing and/or accounts receivable experience
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Google/Gmail proficiency

- Previous medical office experience preferred
- Multi-phone line/Call center experience is preferred
