Responsibilities
- Perform installation, repair, and replacement of auto glass in cars, trucks, and SUVs.
- Utilize hand tools and equipment effectively to ensure precise glass installation.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicle glass for damage and assess repair or replacement needs.
- Collaborate with customers to provide estimates for services and explain necessary repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
- Handle heavy lifting associated with glass installation and removal.
- Stay updated on industry trends, including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) integration.
- Assist in window tinting services as needed.
Experience
- Proven experience in automotive glass installation or related field is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools.
- Familiarity with vehicle maintenance practices is advantageous.
- Experience with auto estimating processes is a plus.
- Knowledge of dealership operations can enhance service delivery.
- Previous exposure to ADAS systems and window tinting techniques is beneficial.
