We are seeking a Head Trainer to join our Denver team and lead training programs that support the performance, safety, and development of our personnel.
Position Overview
As the Head Trainer, you will play a critical role in developing and delivering training programs for de-icing operations, ground support, and safety procedures. You will ensure training content is compliant with FAA regulations, aligned with Aeromag’s operational standards, and tailored to local airport requirements. You’ll also collaborate with operations managers and site leads to ensure all employees are job-ready, well-trained, and consistently improving.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and update training programs for aircraft de-icing operations, equipment handling, and safety compliance.
- Deliver training in both classroom and field environments to seasonal and permanent staff.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (FAA, OSHA, airport authorities) and Aeromag operational protocols.
- Lead Train-the-Trainer programs to scale training capacity across multiple shifts and seasons.
- Monitor training effectiveness through performance reviews, safety audits, and operational feedback.
- Maintain training records and certification tracking for all personnel.
- Support onboarding and seasonal ramp-up initiatives through efficient training coordination.
- Act as a liaison with corporate training, safety, and quality assurance teams to ensure alignment.
- Identify training gaps and propose continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in training and development, preferably in aviation, transportation, or logistics.
- Experience with ground operations and/or de-icing operations is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, training methodologies, and adult learning principles.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both in-person and virtual.
- Comfortable working in outdoor, fast-paced, and seasonal operational environments.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and training management systems (TMS).
- Ability to travel occasionally for training support at other locations.

Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
